Finance work resists hierarchy. A single task belongs to a function, a process domain, a job-to-be-done and several industry archetypes at once — and behaves differently in each. Any tree structure forces a false primary parent.

FinAtlas is a property graph where the substantive content lives on the edges. The sentence “a revenue forecast for a marketplace is really a GMV and take-rate model” is an edge property. A spreadsheet cannot hold it; a graph can.

The map lays every task out on a plate for the function that owns it, over a ground field of the models, data and tools they touch — then lets you re-plate the whole thing by process, job-to-be-done or archetype to watch the same work regroup. That regrouping is the argument: no single tree is the truth.
